Barrueco De Abajo Dam

The Pond of Barrueco de Abajo was built in the eighteenth century to serve the Lavadero de Lanas (now Museo Vostell Malpartida). It has the largest capacity of the four historic reservoirs of Los Barruecos, with a dam 400 meters long.

From the Accessible Viewpoint you can contemplate the most popular view of Los Barruecos: over the water the imposing rock formations starring the 'Peñas del Tesoro' and its White Stork Colony. From this point you can follow the Yellow Route to enter the magical landscape.
